5G boxes are arriving outside the houses of people out of nowhere, but somewhere.

This not-so-little new unwelcomed guest is frustrating many home owners, all thanks to Verizon.

Many people when they look out of their house usually see a mailbox or kids cycling, but now, they are seeing a huge freezer shaped box that is there to make sure 5G signals can be given to the antenna, this is happening to the home owners in Houston, Texas. So far, the home owners have been frustrated because of it, they are baffled and have many questions as to who allowed it?

5G boxes are arriving outside the houses of people out of nowhere, but somewhere.

Why are the boxes needed? Well according to Verizon, they are there to provide the necessary power as well as data to the 5G antennas that are put on nearby utility poles. This is all being done so that Verizon can offer its 5G internet home services. The reason for these boxes rolling out is not that simple, but it is known that the millimeter-wave tech is popular these days, one such drawback of it is that it has a bad range. In order to combat this bad range, Verizon needs these antennas in various places as well as the equipment to power the antennas, and these two things need to go somewhere, somewhere outside people’s homes in order to make 5G roll out fast.

The reason these boxes can be fitted outside people’s houses is because Verizon is under no obligation to ask people for it, they have to ask the county, and if the county gives permission, they have every right to install the 5G box outside people’s houses. The permit fee is only 300 dollars, which Verizon has paid the county in the state of Texas. The problem is not Texas nor it is Verizon, this has been happening for the past few years ever since 5G technology has been made possible. Numerous Telecommunications businesses are doing this to expand their 5G services and make them possible as soon as possible. So, whether people like it or not, 5G is coming.
